Over 1,000 works are housed behind the classic columns and heavy doors, including a fine collection of Prairie Printmakers' prints, works by Thomas Hart Benton, Frederic James and a number of fine regional painters.

Regular exhibits feature the art of top regional artists, and monthly Brown Bag programs, sponsored by El Dorado Main Street and the Kansas Arts Commission, feature musical performances and other demonstrations.

The Coutts offers a schedule of after-school and Saturday art classes for children, as well as special adult classes. See their facebook page for more information.
